EVERY CLOUD HAS A SILVER LINING

As you may see, the title below is an English proverb. You might want to know more proverbs and you can read them in http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/English_proverbs. A proverb is a condensed but memorable saying embodying some important fact of experience that is taken as true by many people. The meaning of the one in the title is "There is a positive side to every bad situation. In other words, bad things also produce some good". I love it!! I always try to look at the positive side of everything!. Could you share with us your favourite proverbs? Do you know their translation in Spanish (in Spanish they are called "refranes")?
